Where's your ride?

So, you want your ride featured? It is our viewer's cars and trucks that make The BumpStop a success! We are always looking for some new rides to add to our site, so send us those Lowriders, Sport Trucks, Classics, Customs, Auto Art, or anything that is a cool! To submit your ride, we would like you to read and follow the guidelines (plus a little legal stuff) below to help us process your submission faster. Please follow these guidelines!
  • Need a picture scanned, or want a better scan? Click here
  • Pictures MUST be in GIF or JPG format, sometimes we'll accept BMP's.
  • For our ease, label your picture according to your car! (example, 63impala.jpg, or 92silverado.gif, NOT truck.jpg)
  • Pictures shall NOT exceed 500K. (those over the limit will be discarded)
  • A good 4-6 sentence paragraph with detailed information about your ride. (please no bulleted or itemized lists)
  • Make sure to include your E-mail! (for us and viewers to contact you)
  • Specify which category - Lowriders, Sport Trucks, Classics, Customs, or AutoArt.
Now, for some legal stuff....
  • The BumpStop does NOT guarantee that a viewer's ride will be used in our Gallery. We cannot possibly post every ride we receive. If your ride is already posted on the Net, then you're second in line. We try to showcase those cars for those who don't have access to their own web pages.
  • The BumpStop will only except ORIGINAL works, no Copyright material, ie. scans from magazines, calenders, or posters.
  • The BumpStop has the right to choose, edit, modify pictures and car information.
  • All submissions become property of The BumpStop (Elite Innovations) and may be used for promotional aids, ads, or sales without any compensation.
  • The BumpStop is not liable for any misrepresentation of work or information.


That's it! Please E-mail your submission to our GloveBox@BumpStop.com. We look at EVERY submission, but there are NO guarantees. If we use your ride, we'll E-mail you. Don't be disappointed if we don't, everyone has a cool ride, we just can't post them all!

Electronic Submissions: (E-mail)

The easiest way to send us your submission is through E-mail or use a popular E-mail program in Netscape or a popular browser. These help instructions are specifically aimed toward Netscape, but apply to most browsers.
  • While in Netscape, click on "file" and then "Mail new message" and address the new message to GloveBox@BumpStop.com or you may choose to click on GloveBox@BumpStop.com. The most common error is a "Reply E-mail address" not found in which you must go under "Options" and then "Mail and News preferences" and choose "identity" and fill in your e-mail address.
  • Fill in the subject area with "Submission"
  • Then in the body area, please give us a short but detailed description of your ride: specs and features.
  • Then click on the "Attachment" button, then "attach file", then choose the file and click "OK." MAC users, please attach the file as "Raw Data", not "MacBINHEX!"
  • Then click on the "Send Button" and your done! Depending on the file size and speed of your connection, this might take a while to send.
