Dee wrote tons of information, and he did a good job, so we are just going to post his jive:
I just want to start by saying you have the best site I have seen yet (Thanks!). I use
to live in Texas but i am now in Florida and I AM TIRED OF seening
S-10's being degraded by STILL having those UGLY splash wanna be water
marks on there truck. Enough already I know Florida is behind as far as
fashion but enough with showing someones "hand me down" S-10.
Okay enough with that. a little history on the S-10 I KNOW U don't have
much time so here we go. Dee's perfect 10 as i call it. Its a 1993 chevy
that is the "LOWRIDER" class. I bought it in 94 Still new since the body
style changed and I wanted to make it my dream truck. Right NOW it has
been customized by Only MYSELF and MY FEW CLOSE friends. LIKE REAL
LOWRIDERS DOOO. so far we have reinforced the frame fully wraped, with a
bridge in the rear, for the two pump hydrolic system (10 Switch & 8
batt.) put 8 inch cyclinders in the front & 10 inch for the rear. My
truck for being a non-professional installer for the hydros (RED'S) hops
24 inches in the front and does all of the other stuff too. I think that
is good. I did not put wire rims on the truck because of all of the
horror stories I heard about them (leaking... a wire going through the
tire... bending...etc.) so i got some ICW tri-star, not very cool but
cost effective. After that we did the interior in black and red crush.
Then comes the Paint. Its like CANDY. My Friend Craig painted it with a
Gold base and then silver patterns (including : the lowrider man, Chevy
bowtie on the hood, and Club name Seductive Images on the tailgate) with
a brandy top coat with @ 7 coats of clearcoat. So far I have been to
Only 2 shows (there is not many in jacksonville florida) and won 1st &
2nd place. I would like for you to use my truck so that you can show
that there is TRUE lowriders IN FLORIDA (really JACKSONVILLE). Thanks Dee!
