The coupe known as Live Wire was built by owner Piero De Luca, aka Evel, and some of his good friends.
The Chassis was built by Bob Bleed (Merkt From Aceholes). It's swept in the front to get it low and in the back with a fully adjustable rear perch. Bob also built the fantastic headers with the ribbed piping and scavenger tips that Johnny found at an old parts store.
Piero had the motor, trans and ’56 pontiac rear rebuilt, while adding an Isky cam and added all the chrome goodies.
The car was named Live Wire from a Motley Crue song, because they listened to them a lot during the build, so it kind of stuck.
