John King is cruisin' classically in his 1951 Hudson Hornet. The car was
purchased in July 1951 by the late O.A. Schnitker of Twin Falls, Idaho.
(If anyone knows this family, get in touch with John.) John's father
bought the car in '93 after it had been stored for about 20 years. It
was repainted '93 Toyota Silver over '93 Lincoln Blue. It received new
brakes, a tune up and a tranny rebuild. It now has 51k and the car is
all original. The engine is a 308 flathead "six" with a 4" bore and 4.5"
stroke with a 7.1 compression ratio that develops 145 bhp. John bought
the car from his dad in '95 and goes to shows with it. He says an old
car is like a lady--If you don't take her out at least once a week, she
can get pretty hard to deal with. Check out his homepage
